Well, I am taking a step of faith, or crazyiness, or maybe just a step.
I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog for a while now. Let me restate, restarting a blog. I have had a blog now for a long time, but have never done much with it. Lately I have often thought to myself, "Oh that would be a good blog topic." Yet felt it was somehow too bossy, pushy, showy, or arrogant of me to start one. Not that I feel that those who blog have those character qualities. I much appreciate the blogs of friends and aquaintances. As well as complete strangers who offer insight on things from choosing the best backwards facing car seat to dinner ideas to craft and money saving ideas. I just had the feeling of, why would anyone care what I have to say.
Lately though this idea keeps coming back to me. Almost as if God is urging me in this direction. Not sure why, but I will most likely find out at some point. That or like before this too will be a passing stage. I hope to learn a few things from this however. One, is how to make a blog. I am fearful of most computer related things other than Microsoft Word, and so this will be a growing opportunity. Two, if I can offer words of insight, wisdom, or just joy to someone. Three, how to use this medium as a way to love, serve, and share Jesus.
